And while I got “busier,” my drawings didn’t improve the way I wanted. The real breakthrough came when I discovered that drawing isn’t about your hand at all, it’s about your eyes. Great artists throughout history already knew this. Leonardo da Vinci trained like this. So did Cézanne. Even Van Gogh.
